Musings From a Magical Mish Mash Home

I'm sitting at my dining room table, fuzzily waking up my creative flow for the day.

I'm gazing at a bouquet of Valentine flowers, still glowing pink and white, surrounded with babies breath. Beyond that my tulips have bloomed...amazing yellow and red they look to me like little campfires on a stem! Audree, my fire child, chose them...makes total sense. Maybe there is a fire Goddess within each blossom dancing her way through our muck and mediocrity and igniting our deepest dreams and passions.

Beyond this scene are spirals of red hanging between the dining room and living room. Pink, red and white hearts adorn the rock mantle with some pink ribbon framing the leftover Valentine paraphernalia. A bouquet of "I love you" balloons are still hanging out in the relationship corner, unless some child needing entertaining lets them loose to blow about the room with the heater vents fueling their play...and the too many cats either loving the playtoys or running for safety upstairs. I'm not ready to take down Valentine decos...so we are temporarily calling this the "love house"...not connected to the Love Boat from my youth.

It's an old farm home...nothing fancy to look at...and actually in need of much creative help (like new paint...repaired fences and a paved driveway). After staying with my dear friend Cindy, who actually paints walls, has purchased art work...and interior design theme's through her home...I felt a bit embarrassed at the sprawl of mish mash I call home.

This mish mash is so me though...my Gemini (who I'm making friends with this year) loves the endless opportunities that are held within each room...each stack of art supplies, books, games...some curriculum even...awaiting the eager inhabitants to explore, be inspired by and manifest from!

I love my home! It's a magical place filled with children's creativity upon the walls, quotes of inspiration on the chalkboard, walls and fridge...along with stacks and piles of books, games and various pillows for us mere humans to sit on while the too many cats lounge on my new furniture.

So thank you dear home...for being magical...inspiring...and so at ease with our growth and many changes. I appreciate your showing up within days of my writing exactly what I wanted in my home! I appreciate your staying with us through grandma visits, illness and divorce. And I appreciate your comfort as my family continues to change and evolve.

One fiery tulip opens more towards me, and yes indeed, there is a fire Goddess within its blossom...and the God Shiva is dancing with her...burning down the walls of illusion...and opening my eyes to the potential and beauty all around and within me.

Arizona...ya gotta love it here!

This past Saturday, we enjoyed nearly 70 degree weather at the lake kayaking and picnicking...tank tops, sandal's and lots of sunshine! We bought fun new hammocks to enjoy in the front yard...and then...

Monday comes, with snow falling like crazy!

Wednesday, back to sunshine and beautiful warm days (or day as it may turn out to be).

Friday another snow storm is due!

For a Gemini, this variety keeps life exciting!

A few of my favorite things!

As I reflect on my life this blustery Pooh Bear day (there he goes, flying by looking for honey)...I am smiling with appreciation for the small things that we embrace which contribute to the lives that we love!

Music! We adore music!!! I love the way our music makes me feel...how it uplifts my spirit...how it moves my body...and sets the tone of positive energy in our home!

Food! Ya, you knew that one didn't you? Last week I baked french bread...and wondered "how can I have more fun with this project"...so instead of making 3 loaves I made ONE BIG LOAF of braided bread! It was so fun to serve it with dinner....and let everyone pull big chunks of hot yummy bread to dip into their homemade soup! We love feasts! And recently have been playing with chocolate...lots!

Adventures! We LOVE adventures! I appreciate Priceline.com for the amazing deals we get for wonderful rooms to enjoy on our travels! I appreciate all of our comfy camping gear for our adventures to the woods, lakes and beach! I love how an ordinary picnic can turn into an adventure with a few inspirations of fun!

Work! A few years ago I was connecting with what creates a flow state of extreme joy, and what immediately came to me was working with my clients! I love what I do, who I share it with and the incredible possibilities that unfold each and every session!

A Life of Learning! I adore watching my children (and me too!) connect with our genius'... our passions...parts of our soul's purpose for this life...and manifest into amazing projects and creations! I love how we don't do "school" at home...(nor school outside of home for those of you who don't know us)...which gives us plenty of time and energy to connect with what really is important to us.

Mentors! Oh how I appreciate all of the people who have inspired me with wonder! AND I'm open to even more inspiring people to show up in my life!!!

Friends! can go along with all of the above lol! I love dancing with friends! I love enjoying feasts with friends! Adventuring is always more fun with friends! My work is filled with connecting with friends! Learning with friends adds way more fun! And my friends are some of my greatest mentors! YUM YUM YUM!

Children! And of course...my amazing kiddos! I love and appreciate how unique each one is and how we create such a wonderful family together!

Feel free to share some of your favorite things! I'd love to hear!

Inspirations among Chaos

Laughing...the powers that be must be having a good time seeing how much I can keep committing to having MORE FUN! The not so helpful attempt to fix the pipes yesterday turned into having no toilet...and a disgusting smell in the house. What a GREAT TIME to go OUT to EAT (and use bathrooms elsewhere).

As I'm sitting in my dining room, waiting for a better plumber...I'm opening to inspirations...and let's see if I can also create some appreciations too...and did I mention feel my feelings fully? (if anyone knows how to do the "gross out" dance, please join me!)

Inspirations...watching Audree prepare for her first date! She was wide awake at 2am, 3:30...and was up before I ventured upstairs! We are both appreciating still having hot working showers! Wahoo!

The sun shining through the pine trees is among my many appreciations! After spending a long time in the city for my training...I looked outside after getting back...and appreciating that I can look out the back windows and see land and trees! As I gazed out over the lower lands, I could feel my energy expand and relax! Ahhhh! I love living in a home with property!

Inspirations from my many supporting friends and loved ones come daily! I'm loving the connection with Cindy and txt messaging with her ...and am looking forward to her coming up next Friday to trade RET sessions! I LOVED staying with Cindy and her awesome family during my RET training, and all the FUN adventures we co created! Smoochies!

I'm appreciating Chelsie, who played mom while I was gone...and listened to me cry on the phone yesterday...and is doing lots of research for our move to CO!!!

And I'm appreciating Tracie, who took one look at me from across the living room and could tell something wasn't quite right in my life. Thanks for knowing me so well!

And ANd AND I'm appreciating my amazing kiddos for being so patient during my time away...during this time of no toilets...and for being the awesome kids that they are!!! I love you all soooo much!

TOTD

(that would be "toss of the day")

I've recently returned from 8+ days of Rapid Eye training feeling so very inspired, AND so much more filled with Divine Unity AND embodying even more FUN AND appreciating sooooo very much all of the wonder-filled women who touched me in so many ways. YUM!!!

The toss of the day comes as a remembering of what we already know...to set intention!

How would you like this day to be? Set the intent! If it goes astray, set the intent again! How would you like to sleep and wake up? Set the intent! As you begin a new project, go on an outing, run errands...set your INTENT!

An awakening I also had at the training has to do with the words "in the past."

When something negative begins to come out of my mouth...I now stop and say "in the past..."...for example "in the past I would take leaky pipes personally and feel so angry and frustrated about the mess they create...AND it's my intention NOW to learn all I can from these leaky pipes, take action steps to have them repaired AND stay connected with Divine Flow through my experience with them!"

So, there is the toss...catch it and join me in creating a life to love and love the life we create! (big uprising breath and "I love my life" with a big smile!)
